Multi vehicle crash closes Roosevelt Boulevard

A major crash involving six vehicles closed the inner lanes of the Roosevelt Blvd. yesterday, April 16, 2016. The crash, which caused congestion in the area happened when the driver of one vehicle appeared to have been speeding. The vehicle is reported to have struck one car in the rear, before bouncing off of that and overturning into another car. Several vehicles got pushed into each other .
A total of four medic units were called to the scene. Several of the people who were involved said they would be seeking medical attention on their own. There was no word on if any of the drivers would be charged. None of the injuries is being called life threatening. The wreck happened just after 2:15 PM and the road was not able to be re opened until nearly 5:00 PM Most of the car were required to be towed away. A few were driven away on their own power.
