Philadelphia Folk Festival is next week

It’s always the third weekend in August. That’s approaching fast. The Philadelphia Folk Festival. For those that have never gone to this, it’s an event to see. There are vendors that sell anything from food to crafts. Then, there is music. This year ( 2017) the headliners include: The Weight Band, Samantha Fish and Graham Nash. This runs the entire weekend. Tickets are available now. You can purchase them online at the above link or you can purchase them at the door.
Fresh off an Ocean City show, legend Graham Nash will headline Saturday night. The Weight Band recently played the Sellersville Theater in April. Both those performers will play on Saturday, which is the biggest day there. As far as foods, just about everything from hamburgers to foods from other countries are usually there. When you look at the craft booths, you can find anything imaginable.
There are dozens of performers and some of them do meet and greets which are free. You will have to check on sight.to determine schedules.
