Justice Rescue, the warriors that go wherever, to save helpless animals held a fundraiser this past weekend. It was right across the street from the falls Twp. Building, in Mealey’s parking lot. On display were police vehicles, vendors, and of course dogs to adopt. Lots of people brought their dogs to walk around. However, one dog everyone wanted to see was a pitbull named Layla, who was left for dead in Upper Darby. She was used as a bait dog. The scars are evident on her body, but all she wants to do is lick people and love them. If anyone has information on dog fighting, or animal cruelty, Justice Rescue wants to hear from you.
