Femmes of Rock released a new EP that contains five songs that span different kinds of rock. Fresh from their show at Parx ,  the record has been on the market for about a month. “We really ran the spectrum of the types of music that we are capable of covering,” said Nina Digregorio, founder of the group.  While the band has shown they can do wonders with songs from AC/DC and Zeppelin, they have chosen to only put five songs on this release. from David Bowie, to Pink Floyd. This effort is simply called Femmes of Rock.

“We have been discussing what we should do for our next EP release, maybe we should do a themed album, or maybe even we can start having themes for  our shows that way too.  Right now, we do mostly hard rock,” Nina said.  Fans that are interested in getting their hands on this record, you can go to their website.

It’s a neat record with original sound. Hopefully,the next record will be more than five songs. “People keep telling us that,  they wish it was longer, so maybe we will do a full length album,” Nina said.  It would a treat.  look for them to return to the area in about a year.  In the meantime, the record will have to suffice. . They put a very different spin on classic rock. This is not a cover band, or even a tribute band. This band is an original work of art.
