Fatal motorcycle accident in Feasterville

Police in Lower Southampton were called to a fatal accident involving a motorcycle April 19 2018 on the 500 block of Bustleton Pike. According to Police Chief John Krimmel, the crash involved two vehicles, a delivery van and a motorcycle. Identities of both men were not available.
Preliminary investigation has the delivery van north on Bustleton Pike making a left onto a side street. The motorcycle was going south and the two collided. The force of the crash set off the airbags inside the van. The driver of the van was not injured, police at the scene said. The cycle slid under the rear of the van. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident happened just after 3:00 PM. Traffic was curtailed around the scene, with both directions getting by. A heavy delay north on Bustleton Pike, as traffic was cut to one lane. Police ask people to avoid the area. The crash scene is being investigated and the coroner has to come to the scene.
It is too early to determine if charges will be filed.
