Two car crash closed Street Road in Warminster

A grinding two vehicle crash closed east bound Street Road at Delmont Avenue in Warminster for over an hour last night, December 21, 2018. In spite of heavy property damage on both vehicles, injuries were not life threatening. The crash happened around 6:00 PM when a vehicle operated by a woman from Fairless Hills was attempting to make a left turn. She struck a pick up truck, causing it to spin about 100 yards down the road, after first striking a guide rail.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. At least one ambulance was called to the scene. Traffic was diverted down Delmont , away from the crash scene. Warminster police did not say if anyone would be charged in the accident. They have not determined who was at fault. The other vehicle, a pick up truck had the right of way.
