The 2019 Philadelphia travel Show is in town for the weekend of March 9 and 10, 2019. It’s held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This weekend, if you like going to conventions and shows, this is the place to be. There is nothing else going on around the area that is worthwhile to attend.  The Flower Show and the Travel Show under one roof.

For those that are thinking abut a trip across state lines or across the globe,  visit this show. from travel tips by the likes of Peter Greenberg, who will tell you how to legally save your money when using airlines and hotels. Booking a trip to Los Angeles can cost as much as $200.00 more, if you don’;t know what you are doing.  As you walk around, you will see lots of different exhibits.  Most are static,  with brochures for the place they are selling and a representative to speak with.  Did you know that in parts of Maine, there are no physical borders with Canada?

Some exhibits offer things to do. You can ride a Segway, for example.. It’s easier than you think and harder than it looks.  That sentence does not make much sense, unless you have never ridden one before, and you try it for the first time. There is also a virtual reality flight simulator. Don’t worry, you won’t crash, but you probably will stall out.  You can check out a rail car used to climb Mt. Washington. On a clear day, you can see five states. It seems like something worthwhile to do. For more information, go  here
