Cops: Reports of Shooting ‘Unfounded’
The Tullytown Police Department, in response to reports of a shooting in Levittown, near the shopping center said the reports are ‘unfounded’ on their Facebook page
“We are aware of reports of a shooting near the Arby’s at the shopping center however they ARE NOT TRUE. There was police activity where a male fled on foot from a traffic stop and search of nearby area.”
Reporter Alex Gross arrived on scene, 10 minutes after the reports circulated to observe officers from Bensalem and Bristol Police Departments leaving the area.
No additional information has been provided by authorities as to the description of the individual they were chasing.
