Falls Twp Police Announce New Camera Registry Form

Falls Township Police announce new camera registry form earlier this week according to a release from the law enforcement agency.

The program, authorities say, is for local residents and businesses and would aide with active police investigations.

Video surveillance submissions would be kept confidential with only law enforcement agencies able to access the images provided by the cameras officials say.

“When needed, the Falls Township Police Department may contact you to obtain a copy of your video recordings that could be relevant to an investigation,” Falls Township Police say. Law enforcement will not have access to a live feed of community video without prior authorization, officials says.

The purpose of the registry is to also deter crimes from occurring in the Falls Township area.
