Serious Crash Closes Part of Roosevelt Blvd. in Philadelphia

A sudden lane change is being call the cause of a serious three vehicle traffic accident on the northbound lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard at Tyson Avenue today, June 13, 2019. A total of three medic units were called when a vehicle driven by Luvy Carascillo of Philadelphia  collided with another vehicle which was attempting to  travel through the intersection. That vehicle got pushed into a car that was being used as an UBER with two female passengers in it.

All of the vehicles had passengers in it, according to police.  One woman was trapped in her car and had to be freed using hydraulic tools.  The crash caused the northbound inner lanes to be closed at Harbison Avenue for about an hour, police said. none of the injuries are considered life threatening. .  Not all of the parties involved went with medics to the hospital, some left the scene on their own.
