State Road in Croydon Closed Extreme Flooding

State Road by the pump plant in Croydon is closed due to excessive water damage. The incident happened just before 8:00 PM June 19 , 2019, when the torrential downpour overloaded the capacity of the pump station. Preliminary reports said that water flooded the road and possibly undermined a large section of the street. Fire companies were called to draft water that flooded the pumping station which cannot handle all of the water. Companies are waiting on Penn Dot to close the road and also a road inspector to determine what repairs need to done to the road.
