Travel Alert: Bath Rd Closure Begins Monday

Construction work at the Bristol Township Municipal Complex will close down access to Bath Rd this week beginning Monday.
The 2/10’s of a mile closure will stretch from Eugene Drive to Brookside Avenue Penn DOT officials said in late July.
“Motorists will be directed to use Oxford Valley Road, New Falls Road and Route 413 as alternative routes” through one of the main arterial’s in the township a PennDOT spokesperson said.
The closure is due to the ongoing work at the municipal complex as part of its parks and recreation expansion project.
Officials say access to the well traveled roadway will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Bristol Township is completing this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit., officials said.
