Police : Thief Steals Poor Box From Philadelphia Church

Do you recognize the male in the photo? Police want to hear from you. He is wanted for stealing the poor box from St. Dominics Church on the 8500 block of Frankford Avenue. The theft occured August 23, 2019 just before 4:00 PM. He enters the church and sees the poor box hanging on the wall. An attempt is made to jimmy it open to take money out of it. When that fails, he pulls the entire box from the wall, hides it under his jacket and runs out of the church, towards Frankford Avenue.
It is unknown how much money he got away with. The entire theft takes under a minute. You guessed it, cameras caught the entire incident. Go Here to see it.
