The annual Hero Thrill Show took place at the sports complex in south Philadelphia September 14,2019.  In addition to fire truck rides and motorcycle stunt shows from the drill team  people got to try on equipment used by cops and firemen everyday. They got to climb in and around boats,  try on SWAT gear and get a good look at the helicopter and police horses.

The weather cooperated and you could not have purchased a nicer day for this event. Tickets were only $10 each and there was something to do for the entire five hour duration of the event.  All the money raised went to pay for the education for the children of police and firefighters who were killed in the line of duty . There was a preview held two weeks ago on Market Street.
