Two Vehicle Crash Ties Up Levittown Intersection

A grinding two vehicle crash in Levittown sent three people to local hospitals and shut down  intersection of News Falls and Bristol Oxford Valley Roads.  The crash happened today, November 14, 2019 just after 6:10 AM. police said that a van owned by an air conditioning contractor was exiting a gas station when it collided with an SUV operated by a Levittown man.  That man was trapped in his vehicle for over 40 minutes. Fire companies had to remove the roof and doors of the SUV to get him out.

 

The van had two workers in it, who were probably headed to a job. The injuries were considered serious but not life threatening. The crash is handled by the Middletown Police Department. No charges were being levied as of yet.  Bristol Oxford valley Road was closed on the Middletown side.  Vehicles on New falls Road were restricted from turning onto Bristol Oxford valley Road towards Middletown.  It took over an hour for the wreckage to be cleared.
