Bristol Township Male In Custody After Running From Twp Police

by Alex Lloyd Gross

Police in Bristol Twp arrested a male that they have been  looking for after he fled a traffic stop on February 26 2020. When Ryan Robert Dougherty  was driving that day, he allegedly ran a red light at Queen Anne and Oxford Valley Road.  Police saw him do this and tried to pull him over. Instead of pulling over and taking a ticket,  cops say that Dougherty floored it and drove away from the officer in a high speed manner. He got away with it, for a few weeks.

Today, he was taken into custody and charged with fleeing and eluding police, and reckless driving. He was also issued traffic tickets. Police said that he had no drivers license . He was remanded to Bucks County Prison under $100,000 bail or 10 percent by District Justice Robert Wagner. He will have a preliminary hearing March 20, 2020
