A pet dog died during a house fire on Lincoln Avenue in Bristol Borough.  The fire was in the middle of a row of three houses, that looked as though they were converted to apartments.  According to Borough Fire Chief Herb Slack,  the fire started in the rear of the middle unit.  There were no injuries to people, authorities said.

A cause has yet to be determined. Firefighters dropped lots of hose on the street, which will require the areas around Lincoln and Pond Street to remain closed until it is packed up. Fire crews from across the township and borough responded to the fire. The Red Cross is in route to help those in need. PECO had to respond to a downed electrical line in the rear.
