Male Injured In Serious Crash In Croydon

A serious accident on the 700 block of Cedar Ave. left two vehicles damaged, last evening. June 19, 2020 in Croydon. According to witnesses a vehicle has made a turn from State Road onto Cedar Avenue and was going at a high rate of speed. That vehicle went out of control and mounted a curb, knocked down a pole before smashing into a parked vehicle . One male in the car sustained injury. Police said he had no passengers..
The accident happened on the 700 block of Cedar Ave. near New York Ave. That portion of Cedar Ave. was closed for about one hour, until the wreck and debris could be cleaned from the road. The force of the crash ripped a wheel from the rear of the car. Police did not have any info on if charges will be filed.
