Potential  First Lady Dr. Jill Biden was in Jenkintown today, October 8 2020.  She was outside of the campaign office of Madeleine Dean who is the local congressional rep . She was  there as well, and is trying to keep her seat.  Also there, trying to stay employed by the state was Attorney General Josh Shapiro.

Jill Biden was actually early for this event, which was appreciated by everyone that was there.  The purpose of this event was to hand out campaign literature, for a photo op. As Biden arrived,  both Dean and Biden gave short remarks to the crowd. As previously mentioned, this event was held outside, in a parking lot.  Every person that attended  was required to wear a mask and go through a health screening, which included a temperature check. This after President Trump came down with COVID-19.

About 50 people were  pre selected to get packets of literature to hand out.  They lined up and were kept across a table from Biden.  During the remarks portion of the program, both Dean and Biden kept their masks on the entire time. The event concluded within one hour. She was on her way to a similar event in Delaware County. The only surprise of the day was before the event when “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” from the Rolling Stones was played. That song is a signature at Trump events.
