Lubavitch Center of Philadelphia Celebrates Hanukkah

The Lubavitch center in Philadelphia was out in force yesterday, and today, December 11, 2020. They are drawing attention to Hanukah , the Jewish festival of Lights. This holiday lasts eight days and nights.   Members were on hand outside of the Liberty Bell Pavilion with a giant menorah.  It was there, that they set up a table and gave out menorah’s to those that may need one, and candles in case you needed a box back home.

The were there to educate people about Hanukkah and to bring awareness to a menorah rolling brigade that will take place at 7:00 PM Saturday night, December 12, 2020. It starts at 22& Ben Franklin Parkway and ends at 5th and Market Streets.  There will be a drive-in service after, where people can celebrate in their cars, to  enforce social distancing.
