Fake Checks, Fake Cops and Stolen Tide Pods: Morrisville Police Log



May 5, 2021 Fraud – 04/27/21 @ 00:20 – Report of victim scammed after being contacted by “Officer Jessica Smith” that his social security number was breached. He was told to purchase $1,500 worth of gift cards and give her the codes. After he gave her the codes, the phone hung up and victim was not able to reach her again.

 

Theft – 04/28/21 @ 12:56 – Report of stolen smart watch, earrings and other items from a residence on the unit block of Hillcrest Avenue. Value: $380.00 Assault/Warrant –

 

04/28/21 @ 14:57 – A Warrant has been issued for Koshawn Gibbs, age 30, for Assault on a male juvenile during an incident that occurred on the 200 block of S. Washington Street. Arrest/Assault –

 

 

04/28/21 @ 20:38 – Jose Diaz, age 60, was arrested for Assault for an incident that occurred at the 7-11 on S. Pennsylvania Avenue. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison. Fraud –

 

04/29/21 @ 17:16 – A female juvenile was attempting to cash a fake check. The juvenile received the check for $1250 for selling sneakers online. The unknown person in New York wanted the juvenile to cash the check due to it being a “mistake”. The juvenile was suppose to send the extra $1,000 back to the unknown person. Incident occurred on the unit block of S. Delmorr Avenue.

 

Burglary – 04/29/21 @ 18:09 – Luis Torres, age 36, was arrested for breaking into a resident’s rear door and eating and drinking items that were in the refrigerator. Incident occurred on the 100 block of Center Street. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.

 

 

 

Motor Vehicle Theft – 04/30/21 @ 11:14 – Report of 2013 Jeep Wrangler stolen overnight from the 200 block of Osborne Avenue. Keys could not be located by owner.

 

Arrest/DUI – 05/01/21 @ 22:15 – Michael Spady, age 40, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and other related offenses after a traffic accident on W. Trenton Avenue. He was processed and released.

 

 

Burglary/Warrant – 05/02/21 @ 04:08 – A Warrant has been issued for Michael Cullen, age 34, for Burglary and Criminal Trespassing at an apartment on the 300 block of Plaza Boulevard.

 

Retail Theft – 05/02/21 @ 10:36 – Report of Tide Pods stolen at Giant Food Store on W. Trenton Avenue. Suspect described as a black male wearing a white tee shirt and blue jeans, carrying a large black bag. He got into a black Hyundai Sonata with paper covering the tag driven by a female heading toward the Calhoun Street Bridge. Value: unknown at this time.

 

Arrest/Public Drunkeness – 05/02/21 @ 18:55 – Turon McGee, age 36, will be cited for Public Drunkeness for an incident that occurred on S. Pennsylvania near the Route 1 Bridge.
