Decade In Prison For Sesame Place Assault

Troy McCoy, the New York thug who punched a defenseless teenager in the face over a mask at Sesame Place last year will move into a new home in Pennsylvania. A State Prison.  You may recall that on August 92020, the worker at Sesame Place asked McCoy to wear a facemask, due to COVID-19 safety policies.  For his efforts to keep McCoy and others in the park safe,  the teenager was decked in the face with a sucker punch that he never saw coming. Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Wallace Bateman sentenced him to serve five to 10 years in state prison. He called it a “Violent, unprovoked attack on a defenseless teenager.”  The teenager said , through a statement that he is still recovering from the assault and that he is battling depression and anxiety. .

 

 

Troy McCoy apologized and said that it was an” Unfortunate misjudgement” and that he did not intend to injure the teen, in spite of the pull on blow caught on video . His partner in the  assault Shakerra Bonds will be a guest of the Bucks County Correctional Facility for the next four to 24 months.  The US Marshal Service kicked down the door to McCoy’s residence in New York and found him cowering in fear, crying  when he was arrested.
