Fatal Shooting In Lawncrest, Suspect Still At Large

A male that was the victim of a shooting yesterday, Jan 6 2021 in Lawncrest has died. The shooter remains at large. According to police, they got a call about a male armed with a gun on the 800 block of Scattergood Street. . When they arrived, just before 1:00 PM, they found 41 year old Eric Locke lying on the ground, having been shot multiple times. He was in very critical condition and police could not wait for an ambulance, so they transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:27 PM.
A crime scene was established at Scattergood Street and Summerdale.Avenue. Police are looking for security cameras and or dash cameras that may have been recording at the time. No motive or suspect has been identified.
