Self service check outs are a pain for retailers.  People sometimes go past the line and do not scan all of their items .  Sometimes, they can forget. Other times, it is deliberate.  Police in Bensalem would like to speak with the two people in the above photo after they went through a self checkout  line at the Bensalem Wal-Mart April 7,2022.  According to Detective Glenn Vandegrift, “Some items were not paid for”.

The smartest thing these people could do is to contact the department at (215) 633-3719. The police are getting tips since they released the photo a few hours ago.  It is fairly certain that they will be caught by the end of the week.  When that happens, it’s at an inopportune time. At least if they turn themselves in, they have control of the situation and it goes a long way as a gesture of goodwill to the  judge when deciding bail.

If you know them, you should call the same number. Over $200.00 in assorted merchandise was taken from the store, police said. The two escaped in a blue car, possibly a Honda.

  1. I do not agree with shop lifting but I also don’t agree with doing the job of a Walmart employee!! If they want to stop this theft then bring back the cashiers and stop the opportunity to steal!!
