A violent, four vehicle accident in the parking lot of a Save A Lot supermarket in Philadelphia today, April 5 2017 could have been much worse that it looked like. As fire trucks and emergency responders arrived, it looked like a war zone. Wrecked cars littered the front entryway to the store and parking lot. After a brief investigation, it was determined that only one driver sustained a minor injury. Two of the vehicles were parked and the vehicle responsible, well, that driver was walking around, trying to tell his story to anyone that would listen.
The carnage happened just before 11:00 AM, when a vehicle operated by Frank Macleod, of the northeast veered out of control, and struck an occupied vehicle, bounced off of that and slammed into two parked vehicles. Macleod’s vehicle then slammed into a pillar supporting the facade of the store, damaging it. The store was closed for business until officials could determine it was safe to open it. All of the vehicles had to be towed.
