By  Alex Lloyd Gross

Several juvenile delinquents were rounded up by Philly cops after they filmed themselves punching a special needs man in Northwest Philadelphia. As if that was not bad enough, the incident was filmed and uploaded to Facebook.  The man did nothing to instigate the attack. The region was outraged  after the video went viral and people were quick to tip off police. When cops saw the video, one officer in the city even recognized one of the offenders. Four males,  were involved, one who filmed it and did nothing, and two that punched the male. Another stood by laughing, as he thought it was funny.

As they were quickly rounded up and brought into custody for questioning,  One of the males,  15, who punched the victim as he tried to get away admitted his involvement in a fight outside  Fitler Middle School at Knox and Seymour Streets last month  . It was there that he was involved in several fights and is accused of punching the principal of the school. The principal was struck again as he tried to record the assaults. He was rushed to Abington Hospital for stitches.

The students were arrested and charged with aggravated assault,  conspiracy, and related charges.  Cops are not releasing their names as they are under 18. The individual who struck the special needs man at Chelten and Wayne is 12 years old and will not face charges in that incident. The males can expect to be expelled from school and sent to a disciplinary school for at least one year, for the assault.
