Pedestrian Struck By Car In Front Of Truman High in Bristol Township

A pedestrian  was struck by  a car during the early morning hours today, June 7, 2019, in front of Truman High School. The accident happened about 4:30 AM .  Police said the car was traveling towards Mill Creek Road when for unknown reasons, the car contacted the person who wandered into the lane of travel. The driver of the car was not injured, police said. The driver stayed an cooperated with police.  The driver was also evaluated by medics.

The pedestrian was tossed into the hood of the car and smashed the passenger side of the windshield. Before school was open, police had the car towed. Few if any kids saw the smashed vehicle. School bus traffic was routed away from the scene. The accident scene was cleared away shortly before 8:00 AM. The pedestrian  was identified as a 29 year old Levittown Resident. The driver of the car was a 42 year old female , also from Levittown.
