Two males are wanted by Philadelphia Police in connection to an incident  that happened July 18, 2019  at the Express Fuel store on the 6300 block of Frankford Ave.  They are observed arguing with the clerk over a purchase. One male then goes out of the door of the store, opens it and tosses a large firework inside the store. The incendiary device explodes and a rack of merchandise catches fire. The flames almost catch the ceiling of the store on fire.  The clerks in the store managed to push the rack outside the store.

this store also sells gasoline, which makes this way more than an innocent prank.  you can watch the video and see how quick the fire spreads. Lieutenant Dennis  Rosenbaum briefed the press about this incident earlier today, August 9, 2019. “These males have since come back to the store, at different times,” he said. They did not cause any problems on those visits.  “This leads us to believe they may be local to the area and someone knows who they are,” he said.  Given the severity of the charges,  Rosenbaum said that the two should turn themselves in.

He told the media that the firework is not a conventional firework that you can legally buy in stores. It is something that might be home made and is not regulated. When asked if the two could also face federal charges, Rosenbaum said “It’s something that would not be ruled out,”. Should you know who these guys are, and be scared to leaved your name, this form allows you to report it and not give your name.

The two are wanted for felony charges including firebombing , conspiracy, Weapons of mass destruction and  arson. This was “not a harmless prank” Rosenbaum said.
