Cops: Man Charged for Shooting Himself

Falls Township Police solved a minor mystery from last week as a man who was shot in the hand had charges filed against him.

Keith Schultz was charged with prohibited firearm possession, reckless endangerment, and filing a false police report by police on Monday after an investigation found he has shot himself.

Schultz told police he was shot in the hand on August 14 on Bristol Pike. Further investigation and an admission by the Morrisville man revealed he had shot himself in the hand.

Schultz, according to authorities is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing, using controlling or selling firearms.

 

He was arraigned by Judge Gallagher on August 16th and bail was set at 10% of $75,000 and released ROR and is currently scheduled for a preliminary hearing on August 28 in front of Justice Vislosky.
