A two vehicle accident on Bensalem Boulevard caused some portions of the Boulevard to be closed last night, November 13, 2019. The crash happened just west of Hulmeville Road, when a delivery driver traveling west, veered into the shoulder of the road. He then struck the rear of a legally parked tractor, before flipping onto it’s side. He was the only person in the vehicle and his injuries were not considered life threatening.
The driver of the truck was standing outside of his vehicle when the crash happened. He was not hurt. The force of the crash caused a front headlight to pop from it’s socket. The rear axle was broken. The truck will have to be towed later. The west bound lanes of Bensalem Boulevard were closed for over an hour until the car could be removed.
