Teen Robbed Of Bicycle In Center City

Philadelphia Police are hoping that if you visit, work in or live in center city that you can help a 13 year old boy get reunited with his bicycle that was stolen January 31.2020. The theft took place underground ,just by city hall.  It was in the concourse when the victim was riding his bike when he was accosted by an older boy who demanded the bike. When the boy refused to give it to him,  the older thief grabbed him  and took the bike by force.

Even though the robbery happened in late January,  the information and photo was just released to the media today February 25, 2020. The boy was not hurt in the robbery.  The bike is distinctive in nature. It has two different colored wheels and the thief was wearing a dark hoodie and had red and orange sneakers. If you have seen this bike or the male in the photo, police want to hear from you.

 

  • Suspect Description: Male, in his teens, wearing dark colored clothing and red or orange sneakers. The suspect took the bike which has a silver frame, blue forks, blue handlebars and two different color tires.
