Rhawnhurst Shooting Victim In Crash En Route To Hospital

Police were called to an accident early this morning, just before 2:00 AM. A vehicle had crashed into a wall at Cottman and Central Avenues. When officers arrived they found the vehicle was transporting a male shot was shot in his leg. Luckily, there were no injuries in the car accident, police said.
Officers continued the transport to Jeanes Hospital where the male was admitted in stable condition. The shooting happened on the 7700 block of Castor Avenue. A crime scene was located and secured. No arrest has been made at this time.
