More Information Released In Bensalem Triple Shooting

More information has been released by Bensalem Police in regards to the triple shooting that left one 14 year old Bensalem resident dead. Police still do not have anyone in custody, but they are looking at footage from multiple cameras that are in the area of the shooting and the escape route taken by the shooter.

Pietro Romano, a 14-year-old student at Snyder Middle School was shot in his chest and was pronounced dead on arrival at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. He was shot by a male in a car that was parked on Woodbine Ave.near Route 13. After the shots rang out that car drove away at a high ate of speed North on Route 13, police said. No description was given of the car.

The Bensalem Township School District is assisting any students or staff who may be affected by this tragedy. Please speak with your children and utilize the available resources if you suspect that they need help coping with this tragedy. The other two males will survive. A 17 year old is having operations on his legs. The 19 year old male that was also shot was treated and released last night. A Go Fund Me page has been set up to raise money for funeral expenses for the Romano family.
