Two Arrested For Muslim Garb Nail Salon Robberies

Philadelphia Police have arrested both suspects in connection with a series of robberies of Philadelphia nail sons. These robberies took place in Port Richmond and on Girard Avenue. You can read the original story here. The robbers dressed in female Muslim garb, including face coverings .
On the robbery at Aramingo Avenue, a woman was shot when she went outside to confront the thieves who stole her identification and money. Arrested was Maurice Allen. He was the first to get scooped up by police on October 9, 2023. On November 3 ,2023 police arrested Christina Kolenda.
Both face robbery, theft and related charges.
