A teenager from Levittown is in serious trouble with police. For unknown reasons, police say, he approached a victim in the parking lot of a shopping center at 1:31 AM. on December 4,2023. Without warning, police said, the juvenile started hitting the victim in his head, causing serious injury. He then stole the victims car.
Police were called and according to Lower Makefield Police Chief Ken Coluzzi,the suspect engaged police in a vehicle chase to get away. A countywide alert was called and the suspect ditched the car and ran on foot. He was arrested in Falls Twp. Within minutes of his arrest, police discovered that the juvenile was actually a one man crime spree..
He had several warrants out for his arrest from multiple police departments in Bucks County. Coluzzi said his department is looking into other crimes to see if he had a role in them.
The juvenile is still behind bars, charged with Robbery, Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury, Aggravated Assault, 3 counts of Criminal Mischief, Tampering with Property, and Receiving Stolen Property..
As police were searching for the male and the stolen car, an officer came upon an abandoned vehicle that had been run into the field at Mirror Lake Rd. and Ginko Lane. There was no one around the car and the ignition had been punched. There was drug paraphernalia found inside the car. . Upon further investigation, it was determined the car was stolen from Bensalem Township. Police are in the process of getting the car back to it’s owner, Coluzzi said.
