Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market Held At NJ CURE Arena

Holiday times can mean problems getting gifts for certain people. Especially if that certain someone is into pop culture. You are in luck. There are hundreds of thousands of items that you can pick up and see if they ( or perhaps you) would like. All you have to do is make a quick trip to the NJ Cure Arena, in Trenton NJ. They are hosting the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market. It runs until 5:00PM today and the weather is crappy. It’s going to get worse late this evening. A perfect reason to spend a few hours there.

This is an arena that hosts basketball and hockey games. The different booths are set up on the concourse and on the arena floor. Dealers will sell anything from records and CD’s to cassette tapes. Even 8-Tracks were available during a quick visit on Saturday. When you are dealing with pop culture and event as diverse as this, it’s not limited to music.
Cast Iron Skillets, custom made coffee, and illuminated photos with really cool designs can be found for a decent price. A lot of people have pets and there were dealers selling things dealing with cats and dogs. A few booths were set up selling things with an afterlife theme. Except for recorded music, no two booths were selling the same thing.
The Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market has hosted host voice actors, or television actors in previous shows. This event will feature Jason Griffith, voice actor from the Sonic Hedgehog.

Of course this event will have clothing. If you are looking for traditional socks and underwear, Wal-Mart had you covered for that. Come here for music themed flannel t shirts, custom made pants, blankets and concert t shirts. Speaking of concert T shirts, hang onto yours, they can be worth money. Trashionco is a company that has an exhibit there with vintage concert t shirts. Bring cash. While some of their wears are about $50.00 a vintage Biggie Smalls t shirt will set you back $2000.00. An Iron Maiden authentic 1987 tour shirt is $700.00. It’s worth the price of admission just to check out this booth.

While you are there, if you get hungry, you can go outside for about a dozen food trucks that can .satisfy your appetite . Brig money as you will go back out again. You will want to try them all. The custom made mashed potatoes from the Good On Ya truck showcases food from Australia. They also also have a stand at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Trenton Rock and Roll Flea Market has a home at the Cure Arena and will be back again in April of 2024. .
