Youth Jumped At Tacony Charter School

Philadelphia Police are investigating a serious assault that happened at Franklin Town High School, located on the 5300 block of Tacony Street. This happened about 2:00 PM Friday, Feb. 2, 2024.
At about 2:00 PM a 16 year old non student arrived at the school. and he was beaten up by several students. The attack was caught on video, which police have, and arrests are expected. The 16 year old was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital,where he was treated for cuts, bruises and a concussion, police said.
Police did not say what the boy was doing at the school or what the fight was about.
