Police Release Photos Of Wanted Shooters

Khalif Duren (Left) and Amirah Square (Right) are wanted by Philadelphia Police for Attempted Murder, after the allegedly unleashed a hail of gunfire on the 2800 block of North Bambrey Street on June 19, at 6:21PM.

At least 17 shots were fired down the street. Seven people were shot. Their ages range from 16 to 46. One male, Tyheed Harvey was arrested shortly after the shooting.

  • Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Khalif Duren is 23 years-of-age, 5’6”, 195 LBS.
    Suspect #2: Amirah Square is 20 years-of-age, 5’3”, 110-115 LBS.

The shooting stemmed from an argument among juveniles, police said.

  1. This ongoing rash of widespread young black gun violence has cemented itself as Top Story on the news daily.
    Add to the fact that anyone wearing a “hoodie” or a “mask” in 90 degree weather is automatically labeled a threat to civilized society.
    Let’s include the current trend of auto thefts and carjacking, to be fair.

    This certainly doesn’t help the reputation of that section of society, does it?
    Imagine if all the cages at the local zoo were to be opened…. lions, tigers, primates, etc., would the result be that much different?
    It’s almost like living in an episode of The Twilight Zone, without being able to change the channel.

    Something’s got to be done to rectify this situation.
    And that something was needed long ago in the form of strict parenting and cultural self-respect.
    No more talking, no more “we’re going to address the situation” – that stuff is not doing a rat’s bit of help.
    This is social terrorism and should be treated as such.
