Sons Of Cream To Play Sellersville Theater Tomorrow

Classic rockers Cream have made some awesome music. Now thier offspring and extended family have gotten together to play those songs live. The band is called Sons Of Cream and they are coming to the Sellersville Theater August 23, 2024

Malcom Bruce, said that the band consists of Kofi Baker, Rob Johnson and himself. All are related to members of Cream. “We put this band together to celebrate the music of the legacy that we all come from,” he said. “We are not a tribute band, we improvise and not really play note for note<‘ Bruce added.

“Growing with with musical parents has given the band members their love for music. it kind of bonded us all as a family,” Bruce said. Malcom Bruce wants to tour the world playing this music. The band is based in England and at the time of the interview, they had played 14 shows in the United States.

Bruce wants to record new music and he already has a working title for the record. “It will be called “Half and Half” We are all writers and it would be nice to see where that takes us,” Bruce said. According to Bruce,the shows are going over very well.

If you go to the Sellersville show, you should expect to hear staples, such as “Sunshine Of Your Love”, and “White Room”. You can also expect to hear a few deeper cuts as well. Bruce joked that “Cream was a jazz band, but no one ever told Eric Clapton”.

Some seats remain available for the show tomorrow in Sellersville.
