Police and EMS crews in Bensalem were dispatched to Pasquellone Drive near Declaration Drive about 8:00 PM last night. When they arrived they found a woman laying on the ground who had been hit by a vehicle. From first responders at the scene, the injuries were not life threatening, it was a possible broken leg.
According to authorities, the woman was crossing at the crosswalk when the vehicle, which was traveling towards Hulmeville Road hit the woman in the crosswalk, as the vehicle made a left turn onto Declaration. The driver of their vehicle was not hurt and was able to drive the vehicle away.
No charges have been filed. The stop sign is back a bit from where the crash happened. Emergency workers were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
