On Monday, Oct 27,2025, Bensalem Police were called to the former Neshaminy Inn, on Route 1 for an unresponsive male. When they arrived, the found Zachary Dooney, 42, laying dead in the parking lot, on his back.
Dooney had no identification on him and was identified through fingerprint records, police said. He lived in Newville Pa, and was not from around here, police said.He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with “Rob Nolfi Roofing” printed on the front and gray sweatpants.
Police said they are treating this as a suspicious death. They did not say anything about any toxicology results.Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance. If anyone had contact with or observed Zachary Dooney prior to his death on October 27, 2025, please contact Bensalem Police at 215-633-3719.
The property is now called the Benjamin Rush House but was previously known as The Neshaminy Inn. It is located on Route 1.
