Eastbound traffic was disrupted on the 1900 block of Street Road in Bensalem last night. A three vehicle crash was to blame. According to authorities, one vehicle was slowing in traffic when an SUV plowed into the back of a vehicle operated by a woman from New Jersey. Her vehicle then hit another car in the rear.
Two people sustained injuries that was considered not life threatening. Traffic was pushed through the shopping center which caused a major back up of drivers waiting to get out of the lot. Those that were familiar with the area drove around to the bank and exited through there.
Bensalem Volunteer Fire Department was on scene taking care of hazards and blocking the road. Traffic was disrupted for about 40 minutes until two tow trucks removed the cars and cleaned the debris.
