ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Thousands of concertgoers reportedly left frustrated and disappointed after rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie took the stage several hours late Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall, forcing some attendees to remain at the venue until nearly dawn.

According to attendees and social media posts, the concert was scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. and drew an estimated crowd of approximately 8,000 ticket holders. While opening acts performed throughout the evening, many fans became increasingly concerned as the headliner failed to appear.

Social media users reported that around 11:30 p.m., A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie posted a video appearing to show himself aboard a private jet in Florida, stating that he was on his way to Atlantic City.

As the hours passed, many concertgoers reportedly chose to leave the venue rather than continue waiting. Attendees described a growing sense of frustration as the night stretched into the early morning hours.

Witnesses said the rapper ultimately took the stage at approximately 2:30 a.m., more than six hours after the advertised start time. Fans reported that the performance lasted only a short time before the artist left the stage.

By approximately 3:30 a.m., the venue had largely emptied, with many attendees expressing anger over what they viewed as a lack of respect for fans who had traveled long distances, paid for tickets, and remained at the venue for hours waiting for the performance.

Several attendees noted that many audience members had work obligations the following morning, while others had children with them or were minors subject to curfews. Some also pointed out that a no-reentry policy prevented concertgoers from leaving and returning later if they want to come back.

A Boogie is on tour pushing his newest release Before Artistry. The final moments of the Knicks winning the NBA Championship was broadcast to the crowd to pacify them.

Online reaction was swift, with numerous social media posts criticizing the artist’s late arrival and describing the evening as disorganized and disrespectful to fans. Several commenters also pointed to previous incidents in which the rapper has reportedly arrived late to scheduled performances.

As of Sunday, neither Boardwalk Hall nor representatives for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie had publicly addressed the complaints circulating online.
