Fire Crews from Bensalem were called to the Knights Bridge Apartment complex on Knights Road just before 11:00 AM today. There was a report of apartment on fire in building F.
Medium smoke was showing from a second floor unit and companies were in service. It was held to just a few engines most were there for manpower. Fire hose was stretched across the parking lot, leading up to the apartment that was affected.
The first floor unit was damaged as well. According to Battalion Chief Ron Harris there were no injuries reported. The second floor and first floor units were damaged and the residents will have to be relocated. Apartment management representatives were on scene assisting with that.
Crews remained on scene upwards of an hour, putting out hot spots and investigating the cause. It took time to roll the hose as well.
