One person was killed  in a grinding  two vehicle crash at Cedar Avenue and River road in the Croydon section of Bristol Twp. Bucks County.  The force of the crash caused the vehicles to travel a block over where they came to rest. One SUV was traveling at an excessive rate of speed along River Rd,  and a passenger vehicle was traveling  along Cedar when the two collided.

Police sources at the scene  could not speculate how fast the vehicle was traveling but did say the case will be referred to the District Attorney to determine  if homicide charges are warranted.  no charges will be filed until that investigation is complete.  Authorities at the scene said that neither vehicle had any passengers. The scene was spread over a block. Two parked cars were damaged from the impact, when the car that got struck slammed into them.

Fire Police from Bristol and Bensalem Twps. were on scene directing traffic. Family members and the curious showed up to observe the crash scene.
