The Yardley Borough Police arrested an 18 year-old Levittown man Thursday night on S. Main St for drug related offenses
According to release from authorities, borough officers observed a white Mercedes Benz with a broken taillight and unlawfully tinted windows.
Police approached to the vehicle to investigate further and detected the distinct odor or marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed unidentified pills and drug paraphernalia.
Yardley police then placed James R. Sanders, JR, under arrest for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Two additional vehicle summary offenses were also noted according to online court documents.
Police processed and released Sanders with the charges pending a preliminary hearing as yet to be scheduled as of publication.
