One driver is injured after he lost control of his vehicle on the 3400 block of Bristol Pike today, November 19, 2019. The crash happened just after 3:30PM when the vehicle was traveling south , crossed over the northbound lanes and struck a boulder that was sitting in front of a contractor’s business. The boulder was for asthetic purposes and was very large and heavy.
After the vehicle hit the boulder, it moved it about 10 feet and the vehicle flipped onto it’s roof. There were no passengers in the vehicle. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The vehicle came to rest a few feet away from a utility pole. The northbound lanes of Bristol Pike will see short closures until the vehicle can be flipped over and towed away. Police were looking to see if a medical issue was to blame for this crash.
