Bensalem Police have established at least two crime scenes in the township. It was about 4:40PM when police and EMS raced to the Top Of the Ridge Trailer Park off of Gibson Road. There was a report of a shooting. Police established a crime scene in the area of B section of the park.
According to residents, no medic units transported anyone but some were observed leaving the complex driving normally. With at last 10 police officers putting crime scene tape up surrounding the complex, it is definitely a founded assignment. Conditions of any victims were unknown.
Multiple residents reported hearing at least one gun shot just prior to police arrival. A second area of heavy police presence was observed near the Newport News Development. At least three marked units were observed, with one of them being a prisoner transport van. This could be an indication of someone in custody.
Multiple attempts to get additional details from police were not successful as of 5:30 PM.
