31-13 That was the final score last night as Bensalem won their Homecoming Game over Council Rock South. Thomas Bailey a Junior score two touchdowns and assisting in many other ways. As the game kicked off , wet grass saw players from both teams slide and fall. Balls were fumbled and catches were missed.
The scoring came mostly in the second half of the game. Bensalem’s Aiden Mayfield ran the ball in for a 39 yard touchdown run. The score was now 21-7 in favor of Bensalem. They did not look back.
This is a far cry from last year when Council Rock South shut out Bensalem 24-0. This time Bensalem was in the driver seat.

Next week the Bensalem Owls go to .Souderton and Council Rock South will play Truman as the Bristol team takes a road trip.
