This political season, some people will do anything for their candidate. Even break the law. Police in Falls Township are going to charge a Bristol Borough resident with Theft By Unlawful Taking, after he was observed stealing a four by eight foot Trump Vance sign on Millcreek Rd and Levittown Parkway.

According to police, the male was spotted by someone who knew he was not allowed to be taking the sign and posted that image on social media. The image shows a male loading multiple signs into the back of a vehicle. Police were called and found the person who they allege was removing the signs.

Falls Twp. Police Lieutenant Martian Bolinski said the male should be charged within a week. “Once he is, we can release his name”. He will be issued a summons through the mail and must appear in court. At some point, he must present himself to the police station for processing. If he has no active warrants, he will be released, Bolinski said.

There have been many reports of people damaging signs or outright stealing them. Bolinski said that this theft happened on October 13, 2024 about 12:20 PM. The value of the sign was over $150.00, Bolinski said. This was not a yard sign, rather it was a wooden one made from plywood.
